    WHAT IS A PROTECTIVE STLYE? 1st things 1st, Protective styles DO NOT MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW!!!!!! they only make it possible to prevent BREAKAGE since your hair may be breaking off faster than it grows. What protective styles do is keep your ends "PROTECTED" as why it is called a protective style. try protective styles so you may have retention and see your hair growth. just make sure that any style you choose to wear that your end are TUCKED AWAY!!!!

A QUICK AND EASY STYLE, AND CUTE & STYLISH AT THE SAME TIME.

#2 "TWO STRAND TWIST"

EASY TO DO AND YOU CAN WEAR THEM FOR A GOOD PERIOD OF TIME DEPENDING ON YOU & HOW YOU KEEP THEM KEPT.(ALSO GREAT FOR A TWIST OUT WHEN YOUR READY TO TAKE THEM DOWN)

#3 "SENEGALESE TWIST"

BEST IF DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL (IN MY OPINION) YOU CAN WEAR THESE FOR MONTHS. I KEPT MINE UP FOR ABOUT 3-4 MONTHS WHILE TRANSITIONING. ( DISREGARD MY BACKGROUND, I WAS AT WORK)

#4 "BOX BRAIDS"

CAN ALSO BE WORN FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, TIME CONSUMING BUT WELL WORTH IT.

# 5 "UPDO'S"

THO A LITTLE TIME CONSUMING (1 HR- 1 1/2 HR DEPENDING ON HAIR) THIS TYPE OF PROTECTIVE STYLE IS GREAT FOR ANY OCCASION. EXP; WORK, SCHOOL, FORMAL, CASUAL, ECT.


SO WHEN IT GETS COLD OR WHEN YOU JUST NEED TO PROMOTE GOOD HAIR GROWTH ALWAYS GO TO A PROTECTIVE STYLE, THEY WILL NEVER STEER YOU WRONG.

4/14/2012 ended my transition period and marked the day of me being FULLY NATURAL. the BIG CHOP.... OMG i was ssooooo nervous to be cutting my hair. ive never had short hair and ive had a relaxer for as long as i remember.( as you see in my display photo) so as of now i am 7 months natural boo's.....yes, and let me tell you it is a job, i miss wrapping my hair and goin to bed and waking uo, combing it down and goin on my marry little way lol. but i wouldnt trade my decision for the world. I LOVE MY NATURAL!!!!!!!!
